laptop notebook, laptop accessoriesWhen the weather starts heating up again over here in Southern California, I get an urge to take work outside or at least into a public place with Wi-Fi. On the first sunny, beautiful day in a few there are always so many people out and about, smiling, enjoying the fantastic weather. Their good moods rub off even while I’m sitting solitary on a park bench, in the corner of a coffee shop or under the umbrella table at our apartment complex’s pool. One of the first things I learned about working from a home office is that spirits need to stay high or it can be very easy to shirk work and flip on the TV. It is still the season of winter but it is hard to tell on the West Coast. I have been getting some good, creative work done on the laptop notebook when the sun is shining. My only complaint has been moving the USB laser mouse around on rough outdoor table surfaces. The patio table has a similar texture as deck lattice, which does not make for a very smooth surface to click on.

Saving a couple seconds here and there on the laptop notebook doesn’t seem like much but over a week’s worth of work it equates to real dollars.

I’m sure the mouse kit pictured above could be paid for with the extra money made working faster in a couple weeks of working outside. The mixed in sunny days we are getting now are only making me more excited to experience another California summer. Sunshine, a laptop notebook and popular location are all the ingredients to working with a great attitude outside of the office or home walls.
